The Brook Retirement Communities

Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care

13 locations and growing

The Brook Retirement Communities currently serves 13 communities throughout Michigan – Roscommon, Gladwin, Houghton Lake, West Branch, Cheboygan, Grayling, Boyne City, Gaylord, Big Rapids, Newaygo, Cedar Springs, Portland and Rogers City.

We are just a short distance from local shopping, medical facilities and community activities. Our locations boast beautiful natural settings, offering glimpses of wildlife on a daily basis. We have a van which transports residents to activities and shopping at designated times.

Our Roscommon, Boyne City, Houghton Lake, Newaygo, and Cedar Springs communities offer 42 comfortable apartments. Gladwin and Cheboygan offers 52 apartments and Big Rapids, West Branch, and Gaylord all have 62 apartments. Our Grayling facility offers assisted living and a secured memory care with 23 apartments. Designed with older adults in mind, our communities look and feel like an “upscale” residence, not an institutional facility.

In 2020, we welcomed our newest 42 apartment facility in Portland and 23 apartment facility in Rogers City to The Brook Retirement Communites family.
