My mother "Jackie" moved here last year. She is more than satisfied with the Staff and very happy living here. Andrew makes all the difference. He goes above and beyond to cater to her wants and needs. The food is Good and Staff Outstanding. Highly Recommended. Thank you Andrew for making me feel good about mom living there.

My mom was reluctant to leave her home, but she needed more care than we could provide. After a couple weeks at the Brook in Gaylord she was enjoying the surroundings, company and care. Her health actually improved. The staff at the Brook was top notch and treated my mom like she was part of their family.

We had heard so many great things about the Brook in Gaylord that when it was time to move our mother into assisted living, we came to check it out for ourselves. Diane showed us around and told us about all of the services provided. We were impressed! Then we met the manager, Andrew. He was so thorough and answered all of our questions. Finally, after moving mom in, we were surprised at the level of care and compassion that the girls taking care of her showed her, as well as her family! They were just wonderful and they felt like family from the start! I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family!

Mom moved in to a one bedroom independent apartment in Gaylord August 2018. She immediately made several friends and began taking part in a few activities. As the years passed her health began to decline so a move to the assisted living side was necessary. She was able to still visit with her same friends and partake in some of the same activities (and add several more), all while getting the assistance she required. The staff, well they are more than staff - they become a part of your family! Many thanks to Andrew and family for taking care of mom!

Prefect place for my mother. All the staff treat my mother like she is family. Andrew is my mother’s super hero , if all else fails ask Andrew! Diane is my favorite but sister and brothers like Faith, Sonya, Snooki ( in the kitchen) and others.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience my family and I have had at The Brook retirement community in Gaylord. From the moment we stepped through the doors, it felt like a true home, and this warmth continues to resonate throughout the facility. The staff at The Brook are nothing short of fabulous. The Director, Andrew, is exceptional. Diane, the office manager is SO friendly & welcoming. Diane, Sierra, Salvie, Alysa, to name a few, are beyond AMAZING with their clients ♥️They are not only professional but also extremely friendly and cheerful. Their attentiveness to the residents is truly remarkable and makes all the difference in creating a nurturing environment. It’s comforting to know that my parents are in such caring hands. The food is excellent, with a variety of delicious options that cater to different tastes. Each meal feels like a dining experience, which adds to the overall atmosphere of comfort and community. The energy in The Brook is vibrant and engaging, filled with a variety of activities that keep everyone involved and active. Whether it’s social events, exercise classes, or hobby clubs, there’s always something happening that encourages both socialization and fun. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, providing a serene environment for residents to enjoy. The location is also convenient, making it easy for family visits and outings. Overall, The Brook has exceeded our expectations in every way. It's reassuring to know my parents are happy and well-cared-for in such a lovely community, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a retirement community that feels like home.

My mom has been at the Brook of Gaylord for 4 years now and we are very happy with the experience. The nurse aides are caring. The building is clean and very well furnished. The manager in charge, Bree, is AWESOME. If there is an issue with my mom Bree calls immediately. Mom had a cat for a while that just didn't work out. Bree adopted it! My only concern is the turnover of nurse aides. I'd assume other places are paying more money and it's easy for them to jump ship for more pay - I sure can't blame them. Overall, great place I'd highly recommend.

The best place to take your loved ones

We visit from Nebraska several times a year. We are very pleased with the care at The Brook!

Dad stayed for a week for respite care. We couldn’t have been happier! The staff was very friendly and caring. They were very attentive to our requests and seemed to be genuinely happy to be there. The facility was spotlessly clean, right down to the kitchen! Meals were cheerfully served and looked appetizing. The staff was very attentive to the needs of the diners. We’ll definitely consider using their services again for respite care or long-term residency.
